For the fifth successive year students from NTBG participate into the AFS Programme for international cultural exchange.

On 6th and 7th March 2013 at the Japanese Embassy an interview was held with the candidates according to the international organisation AFS Programme.  Students from different Bulgarian High schools competed for a full grant - on behalf of the Japanese company for yogurt production "Maiji". Our school jury had nominated two representatives – Radoslav Tsvetkov from 9 "A" and Vyara Tatarska from 11 "B" class. They both made an excellent impression not only at the group Embassy interview, but also at the individual one, and were approved  to participate at the Programme.
