The 17-year-old pupil of the National Trade and Banking High School, Borislav Garibov from section “11-D”, ranks second among the adolescents participating in the world championship in Kappl, Austria. This his final season as an adolescent. Borislav ranked fifth last year. He skied very well during this year’s competition, executing stable drops and technical turns, earning himself a place on the podium.

This is what he recounted after his participation:

“Yesterday’s beginning didn’t go as well as planned, because the circumstances caught me off guard, forcing me to stray off my intended path. I was very surprised when they said my name and called me to the podium. I am even more motivated for my next race now. It will take place on the February 8 in Alpbach, Austria.”
